Hi all,

can any advise where i could get a replacement flybridge screen made for a 1990 Princess 388 - the original is fine, just the typical brown and i would like to replace it with an alternate blue colour

many thanks

There are lots of perspex people about. Flat panels are not too bad, but as they get curved the bill goes up.

I was quoted £4500 by little port above ( squadron 58 - there might be a bit more perspex but the curved part costs and will be similar is in size).

Location might also be a consideration as you need to get them off and to them to copy - googling local perspex fabricators would be my suggestion.

You might find someone who has the templates if they have made them before. I don't know if there is a dedicated princess forum somewhere where you have a chance of finding someone who has had it done for your boat. Also princess seem to have a department that sources old parts ( Fairline take note) and they maybe able to source for you

Similar cost for mine jrudge (P385 - older version of the P388) as the Perspex is not pre-curved before fitting. The curve is very gentle on these, so a flat piece is cut and bent around the stainless fitting securing it in place.

My issue was the length - the original is one piece, so they had to buy in stock of the colour I wanted as standard length sheets are about 300mm shorter than the screen! Still got most of a large sheet of lightly smoked grey if anyone wants a bit...

guys thank you so much, have contacted fibresports and they will respond tomorrow - thank you for your great hep!!
