Evening all

Well, the sale of our T37 is nearly complete. To tide us over until next season we'd like to have a week or two in a flybridge so that we can decide if that's the way we want to go.

Ideally we'd get two weeks in, one in the Solent area, say somewhere in an area bounded by Chi and Dartmouth, and the other overseas, probably in the Med.

So for the UK week - does anyone know of any bareboat flybridge charterers, ideally something like a Fairline Phantom 38/40/42, or a Princess P38/40/42?

Cheers
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy

In Alcudia there is a guy called Barry (Mallorca Cruising - they advertise in MBY) on 0034 617 873 837, they have a phantom 38, 40 and 42 in their range, amongst others, all based out of Alcudia and Pollensa.

Also BHI who are Mallorca Fairline dealer also charter from Pollensa - http://www.bhigroup.com/charter/index.htm but are likely to be a tad more expensive.

Barry works with a guy called Charles, who is a RYA instructor, so you can probably get a deal to include some handling training before you dissapear!

Dont forget to PM us if you visit, if we are there it would be nice to say Hi.

Hi Martyn - thanks for this. I can see this being the subject of my wilfing tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Good point about the training as well, I imagine that the best way to persuade a charterer to let you loose on their boat is to get them to deliver a bit of training first.

Cheers

Hi Jimmy,
We can offer bareboat charter on our F37 for skippers with the right quals. My insurers are also fussy about the charterers background - eg a boatowner who wants to charter for a week with a family of 4 is fine, but 6 blokes out on a stag weekend isnt /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif She is a 2003 model and 'like new'
Send me a PM with the dates you have in mind

Best Regards
Alastair
