Does any one have experience of both?

I have been a user of Fluid-Film for many years. I spray it on anything metal that might ever look as if it might go rusty. It gets everywhere, it creeps into joins and welds and generally seems to do a very good job. Galvanised rigging seems to like it (haven't used linseed for years). Unlike other stuff it appears to never dry. So its big advantage is that it never dries and the big disadvantage is that it never dries. It comes from the US and is quite expensive. Lanolin based I understand.

I have never used Lanoguard. It seems to come from the UK (which might make it cheaper). Does anyone know if it is the same thing? Better? Worse?

Lanoguard has the consistency of thick grease and gets less viscous with heat. I apply it to a Brunton 3 blader not sure it does much good by the end of a season.
You pays your money etc.

Tried it on the props and rudders on the work boat applied in July taken out in December you decide if it worked! Boat wasn’t used much due to COVID!
