We are planning another holiday this year and would like to try Croatia early in the season.
Does anyone have any recommendations for places in Croatia and experience of the weather around May time?
Many thanks.

Went last year Mid May, weather excellent, eveywhere was good, restaurants good and not too expensive. Booked again for same time this year, bareboat from Cosmos from Split, (Trogir) and sorted own Easyjet flights, (£80.00 return!) Got a very good deal on yacht, 46ft Bav. Recemmended.
Usually I go in September, weather is just as good in May

Dont know about Flotillas though, Sunsail must do them from Kremik.

Hi
Been looking at the forum for months now, 1st time I have felt knowleagable enough to post a reply, hopefully there will be others in the future. Have been to Croatia the last 2 summers, had a great time. Both holidays were booked independently, flights and boat, 1st year with this company web page , and 2nd year with this company web page . Similar companies but the 2nd year the company had purchased their own fleet of new Beneteau Cyclades yachts which were being marketed separately, which we booked (very good prices compared to a lot of other companies on the internet). They only seem to offer bareboat so this may be a problem. 1st year we flew with BA and then Easyjet started offering flights. Beautiful area, can´t help you with the weather in May ,we went in July both years. Hope this has posted OK.

Have bareboated 4 times in Croatia, twice in May, and twice in September. Seem to remember that Sunsail did flotilla from Primosten. Had excellent weather May in and Sept, tho' of course May is chillier for swimming.
We found the Kornati islands underwhelming, but some great islands and anchorages between Split/Trogir and Dubrovnik.
