Floating Homes at Mongewell

Mongewell near Wallingford? Not a chance then. SOXON hate the river and certainly wouldn't allow a development on this narrow stretch.

Wow can't see that going ahead, would ruin the view and I expect Oxford University would almost certainly object to the narrowing of the channel.

Floating bungalows and the like on any river is totally abhorent to me. Dutch Barges, Humber Keels etc. even narrowboats are fine but pontoon homes are to me like covering a field with Static Mobile Homes, a blot on the landscape.

You would have thought that The Isle of Sheppey and most of Mordor (aka) East Anglia would have been warning enough ...it would appear not. !
