But when you are in desperate need the can will be empty.In the āmechanicalā age, WD40 was always the go-to product as first response to any product failure issue.
These days, the go-to product is Contact Cleaner. Spray cleaner, maybe rub with a cotton bud or similar, around switches, connections and battery terminals, and many electronic devices will burst back into life.
But you always need a 2nd torch to see to fettle the 1st. Just like you need two pairs of reading glasses...But when you are in desperate need the can will be empty.
The torch with get in a strop and fail to even flicker to enable you to remove to trapped bits.
