Fletcher 19 GTS/GTO

Hi Sandra,

I have a 2000 year 19 GTO which is currently having a Suzuki 115 4 stroke with approximately 265 hrs on it being fitted.

Given that i got 27 knots with a mercury 75 4 stroke on i am expecting a significant performance improvement

I should have the boat on the water early June as everyone in the industry is a tad busy at the moment with the season start.

Pm me if you want me to send you pics from last season. Thanks

How's the new boat Nick ?

Really good thanks Trev,

Just needs vhf installing, naming and a bit of polish. Received my new Metz Ariel today, half the size of most GRP ones so less whipping when under way.

Honda 135 is superb, haven't finished running it in yet and think i have slightly over propped it. I think a 19" pitch should be suitable as a good cruise prop. ( Do any forum members have a spare 19 Ali or stainless for sale perhaps?).

I don't care about "hole shot" as the most exciting thing i will tow will be a Ringo....

Huge fuel tank compared to the Fletcher, 136 Vs 80 litres. Mind you 80 litres got me around the island in heavy seas with fuel to spare.....

Zipped over to Wootton with the family last Saturday, the Royal Victoria yacht club are really friendly and we had excellent tea toast and marmalade.

Nice run out but the return leg was a tad lumpy. I'll show you the boat next time you are down, cheers.
