Fleming 78 - ICW

Just back from taking an amazing Fleming 78 from Nassau to Maryland. We went through the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) which was a fabulous experience.

The Fleming 60 has one large aft deck. The Fleming 78 has a higher seating area and a lower level further back. What is the reason for the Fleming 78 aft deck layout?

Have been a fan of Fleming for a while now, particularly how Tony Fleming started the company and his ethos on boat design and taking a pretty brave step on holding a boat back for development / testing. Since his retirement they still seem to be turning out some very classy long range cruisers.
