Oh, all right then, The truth is we haven't the faintest; but you could try using a pulpit or handrail socket. Timage have some in their catalogue. Try sales@timageltd.co.uk and ask for a catalogue, they don't seem to be online.

Possibly a suitable diameter stainless pipe, held by 2 U clamps ? Suitably distanced off from hull by a wood block ? Only thing is the U clamps would need very long 'legs' ......
Mmmm just thought .... out here we have to have flag-staff holders on the outside of our houses ..... so many times a year we have to fly National Flag in Latvia .... the holders are formed from bar bent into a wide necked U. The pipe fitting welded to the mid point and bottom of pipe bent to a small plate that abuts the house.
So the top is held out at an angle by the U bar and the botton against the house by the plate. All bolted in place.
In case the high level of helpfulness results in no off the shelf remedy /forums/images/icons/smile.gif and you have to get one made, we have a fabricated transom mounted flagstaff holder.
Is a piece of appropriate dia ss tube welded to a flange at the correct angle to give the staff the angle you want. Is a drain hole bottom of tube at the flange to let water out and a piece of round bar shaped to a cleat welded to the tube. The halyard tied to the cleat holds the staff in and the flange is through bolted through the transom.
Our staff is turned from timber (spruce or oregon is good) to be a good fit and from memory is about 2 inches in dia.
