Amazing half price deal on antifouling.

I have used Flag in 2008, no better and no worse than Balkes Tiger Extra, and definitely better than Cruiser Uno in the Crouch.

I have bought the Cruiser Performance Extra at £38 quid for 2.5ll.

As I will collect from Burnham store, delivery is free.

Excellent bargain I think.

Last antifoul we bought was Jotun (Seaguardian I think) commercial. 25l for £125 iirc. Works better than anything else we have used in our part of the world. Lasts two years plus too. Plus you don't have to put the boat in within a day or so of the final coat.
Just shows how expensive 'leisure' antifoul is (like everything else for the leisure market).

Collecting mine from Maldon. Great deal and interesting what you say about Cruiser Uno which is what I used last time (albeit with a jollop of copper powder thrown in).

Thanks for that Jim.

Blimey... That is cheap. Ive used Extra for last 2 years & found it just as good as many others costing lots more money. (Black performed better than lighter colours)

Used the Flag extra for the last three years after having had her bottom blasted (the boat not SWMBO) have found it excellent. Bought this years supply from Barrie at canvey at £15.00 he told me he had bought them as a job lot from a posh swindlery, they didnt want to sell them as the cans were dented

Have you tried the £15.99 stuff or do you refer to the Cruiser Extra when you compare to Blakes Tiger?

Just wondering as even though the web site state that they have the Cruiser Extra in stock, they don't, as they just cancelled my order. Seems the system cant keep up with demand. The £15.99 stuff is still available though and I wonder whether I should go for that.

I was looking at the £15.99 stuff this morning, its coating the underside of my (floating) boat. I used Flag in 1st week of august before heading off to Ramsgate week. Its still doing as good a job as the Blakes, and considerably better than the Cruiser Uno.

I collected mine from Marinestore Burnham this morning.

Thanks, will give the £15.99 stuff a shot. They will even allow me to pick up from Walton which is closer to me. Appreciate the heads up...a considerable saving on Blakes Tiger!

Just ordered 2 cans for my boat. I used some XM cheapo stuff last year which was completely rubbish. Lots of growth and it came off back to epoxy when the boat was jet washed.

Mind you I didn't use any primer.
