Was flicking through on of the monthly boating magazines online archives. I saw a lovely sports cruiser @40ft, thought it was ultra modern and attractive. However when i googled it it appears it is a british built boat(nothing wrong with that i currently have a sealines25) and the website is extremely amateur! What is wrong? has this company gone broke or do the think they are too exclusive to have an adequate website??????? FJORD BOATS????????

his is a resurrection of a once proud marque in Norwegian Boatbuilding, dating back to the early 60's. During mid 1990's the suffered a serious downturn in revenue and ceased trading. The name and moulds were bought (2002 I seem to recall) up and production continued with one smallmodel (Terne ... still in production today).. all other and older models was discontinued, and now you see the 40 footer (and others) being introduced...

Here's a few of the historic selection which ranged between 18 and 44 foot...

This model was also the big favourite out here as well, probably half were put on trailers.
From single V8's to twin petrols (170 h.p.) and a single 40 series Volvo diesel.

my mates got a couple of 6 cylinder volvo Turbo diesels not sure if they are original though

Hi,
I swapped my Colvic Sailor for a Diplomat end of last year, I can't wait to take her out. but still trying to get one of the engines working correctly. She has twin AQAD30a's on 290 legs needs a fair amount of work as she has been neglected
