Fixing things in small places

This morning fixing a hole to stop mice from getting in the cupboard it brought in stark reality that getting at especially the engine would be a challenge if I bought a boat with an infernal combustion engine so may have to budget in work that I could not do,certainly lying on my back fiddling with tools not a pleasant occupation

At the age of 82 I had to get right inside my Twister's cockpit locker to rewire something.

Sometimes you need all the help you can get, especially if you can't even reach your nuts.

I thought that it was your hole that needed plugging.
You do not have to pull the thread when we give advice on how to access your bits in a confined space up the rear of your boat ( that you do not have)

Well he must not losen too much, or said nut could drop off & go rolling in to the bilges. Then he would need one of those 3 pronged grabbers, on another stick to recover it

A few years ago I came back from a holiday sailing around Corfu with a tick on my testicles. I found it by feel in the shower, but my modest pot belly made it easy to verify. My GP declined to tackle my tackle so I had to spend hours in A&E for a doctor to remove it. Life's rich pageant...
