Bought some Galvanised corrugated sheets today to replace the C*** Onduline sheets on my shed ready for fixing of PV panels and had a discussion with the dealer as the best way to fix to the purlins - he said use 25mm Tek? screws in the valley and I said I understood they always had to go on the crest so they could not leak. Eventually decided on 65mm Galv spiral large head nails + plastic washer for the crest and I'm now having doubts about these.
What is the forums opinion? I'm tempted to go back and swop for the Tek screws.....
It's standard Galv. corrugated sheeting 0.5mm thick.
