Fixed vhf to wifi bridge for ais?

I’m looking at getting this standard horizongx2400 vhf which has inbuilt ais. Thats all well and good but it will be living in the cabin.
It says nmea 0198 compatible, even tho its an nmea 2000 device, would I be able to connect it to a little yakker wifi bridge I have to broadcast ais to my ipad out in the cockpit? The yakker has an nmea0198 input, no 2000.
