It seems Louise has time to update Facebook so I'll grab a minute in here
Well for a start and on the good news side, we have a chef starting next Monday, with the ability to turn out exactly what we want and then some. Never heard of venison with a dark chocolate sauce but it works for me
To enter the kitchen you no longer need a radiation badge as all the microwave ovens have been booted out, along with all but one small freezer. Sorry, but never could understand why a good restaurant needed so many freezers, all fresh here so they're gone
Kitchen has now been completely tiled, so at least now we can clean down properly, and the servery is going to have the last wall plastered this week. Just got to put the floor down and job's a goodun
No answer yet from the council about the alterations we need to make it work, but as it's the only way we can make the place suitable for disabled people, I do hope they aren't going to delay too much longer
Now, a very very big thank you to Neil, and hopefully Duncan, as 5th November 2010 will be a very big night indeed. Not only is it the village firework night when we are traditionally busy, but we will also be the venue for a potential double group booking as Men In Spex and Blue Bark outshine the local MP on our formal opening night

Still unable to do food yet, although the few regulars have been treated to a top grade burger or two in the meantime
We don't do food as such just yet, but where there is a way
Expecting the 5th November to be a big night so if anyone is intending to come here they would be well advised to arrive early
If anyone wants to make it a YBW ECF meeting, let me know and I'll make sure the big YBW burgee is flying as high as I can get it
Now we just have to survive a little longer, and we have the potential to become one of the best in East Anglia
Neil, thanks again for making this all possible, and if you could amend the location on Reverb to show 'Hessett' as the location people won't go into Bury
Catch up when I can but these days it's all chop chop busy busy work work bang bang
