SWMBO has decided that the immaculate pale yellow en suite and pale pink bathrooms that we have are to be replaced by glaring white equipment starting this weekend. They are so yesterday, apparently. So we will be throwing into a skip a pale pink jacuzzi corner bath plus over bath shower fittings in gold plus bidet plus sink again with gold taps all absolutely pristine plus toilet. No exagerration - I reckon we have used the bath maybe 10 times in 10 years and always for the grandkids.

With them will go a pale lemon sink, and toilet again with gold fittings . In this case the porcelain is immaculate but the plating on the taps is worn. There is also a shower and if the builders dont smash it up getting it out, a pale lemon ceramic double shower tray.

All to be collected. It would be nice to have a £ or 20 for them but what really upsets me is the idea of simply throwing into a skip such perfect kit.

To be collected from just across the severn bridge. PM me if interested. Offer out to any of your pals who might be.

pink bath? seriously? its not 1987 y'know.

we are just investing in a large country house, last done up in 1983. it has pink and avacado bathrooms with worn gold taps. its why its loosing a fortune. does the bath have carpet up the sides too?

Yes. Only about an inch up though.

1987 was a good year. And if you have DSS clients in there, a pinke bath will hold coal just as well as a white one!
