Hi,

Does any one know where i can get a fitting to attach a hose to the fuel tank on a bavaria yacht?

The tank has four outlets which two are for the engine, i would like to attached the heater.

At the monemt Two of them have like a blank in them. Have tried local car shops but no help,

I have have a 8mm copper pipe to plumb into the fiting,

Will try and upload a photo of the blank.

Guess you might have found something by now, if not:

The fitting that you are holding looks like a blanking cap for a compression fitting. You should be able to get the correct replacement from ASAP supplies:

or possibly a local plumber / gas boiler fitter (or even a caravan shop?)

Remember that you will need an olive as well as the nut, and do not over tighten (hand tight and then 1 turn more.. you can always tighten a little more if it leaks but you can never 'untighten' a leaking, overtightened fitting).
