I would like to thank all of you who replied to my question. I have fiited the calorifier with the top of the heating coil about 4'' above the top of the header tank. I have had no problems at all and no air trapped in the coil. the level of coolant in the header tank is the same as it was before I fitted the calorifier. Piping hot water in 20 minutes, its brilliant.
