Is must be possible to attach a louder buzzer alarm to a volvo start panel. Is it easy to wire off the existing weedy/quiet overheat alarm buzzer?

Anyone willing to share a cir Uig diagram or photos of same.?

The buzzer is driven by an electronic circuit so there will be some limits on what might be fitted without even more electronic jiggery-pokerey

Here is a circuit diagram of the inner secrets of the VP electronic module ( Late model ones might be a bit different)

Peizo-electric buzzers/beepers have a very high impedance, so the panel probably would notice any difference if you connected one in parallel with the existing buzzer

Thanks for the panel diagrams

Can I run a louder buzzer in parallel? Do you think that would be loud enough given your experiences with such things?

I think you could run another in parallel, you could extend the wires and a have the extra one closer to where you need to hear it if that helped. They're cheap enough to be worth giving it a try.
The piezo ones are more beepers than buzzers btw.
