Hello all, I come to the collective wisdom yet again. I have a Corribee and planned to fish the eastern Solent marks, past nab tower this Saturday, from high tide to high tide. Looking at the forecast there may be a steady 16 to 19 mph wind, gusting to 29 mph. I will be drifting over the marks in the main, what do you think, is this a sensible idea or just not worth the discomfort? Many thanks.

Thanks Davy, that's what my instincts were telling me, I just have to cancel my brother in law coming down from London, so wanted a more experienced opinion and I have it, thanks again.

There will be better days if you wait, 29mph gusts are not the type of weather you want to be drift fishing in, in a relatively small boat, fishing is supposed to be enjoyment not endurance! good luck:D
