Hi all, Finally moving our boat to Cardiff Marina later this month, I fancy putting my big boy pants on and taking our boat to fish the Bristol Channel so looking for advice or any good spots/wrecks to fish without me adding our boat to the wreck list lol

There used to be an active and friendly fishing section at Cardiff yacht club.

I used to hear stories of giant Conger eels pulled out of Penarth docks area but that was before the Barrage, I guess they've wriggled off long ago... But I remember a schoolmate showing me a pic of one his dad had caught and it was frankly terrifying.
I appreciate that this bit of nostalgia isn't much help to you....

Creatures from nightmares... You see people fishing over the drying banks straight off Penarth, presumably a good spot.

Use the first foot or so behind the head, Greer bones, bit all good.
