According to the article the FPV Minna assisted and according to Marine Traffic she made a wee excursion from her beat up and down beside Ayr to circle the anchored tanker Decathlon twice. If that's the one, it suggests that lookout on the fishing vessel was a tad deficient, what with the Decathlon being nine hundred feet long and the damage to the fishing boat being at the bow.

From observation, fishermen seem to believe the entire world must give way to them.

There is one based at Largs which has the "I am fishing" cones welded to its mast.

They usually lash the basket on their mast. Diving boat in tayvallich has a steel diver down flag welded to their mast...
