Having previously said how good it is I regret to advise that the fisherman's arms in Plymouth has now closed.

I've eaten there a few times and even recommended it in the past, but after two disappointing visits last year, we never returned.
There's no shortage of decent restaurants in Plymouth.

The Fisherman's never pretended to be a restaurant but was a pub with food and I thought it good at that blend. Yes, there are much better restaurants in Plymouth but I wouldn't go to Tanners for a pint and fish and chips.
