Fisher Freeward

Anyone out there had any useful info on this? I was sent some details from a broker recently but I have no idea about its sailing qualities other than it shares the same hull as the Fisher 25.

Comments both good and bad appreciated.

You're right about hull - same as Fisher 25. Difference is in top-sides, Freeward has a "dog house" instead of the full wheelhouse. You can see a picture at:

I have a Fisher 25 sloop. Sailing performance is sluggish at best, but very seaworthy and with Yanmar 3GM30, motors well!

A friend owned one a few years ago. Beating performance was nil but off the winds she wasn't bad. You have to regard it as very much a motor sailor and with a relatively big engine and huge prop, it could certainly motor. Very roomy and seaworthy for its length.
