Hello everybody!

I am an admirer of the fisher 25 motorsailor and I have plans to purchase one, one day.
Just found in a danish broker- fyns-yacht- a picture of a very strange one: she looks like a freward with a wheel house added, meaning the cockpit becames smaller than normal fishers. they say she was build in 1974.the price is very atractive.
So my question is: is this boat costuom made....or fairways build it like this originally, kind of limited edition?

I think you're right, it's a modified Freeward 25. It's certainly not a Fisher 25. It looks like a DIY conversion, I'm sure Fairways wouldn't have built anything like that! And, although they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think most people would consider it ugly. Beware of resale difficulties with a DIY conversion like this.

Ugly boats...you should see mine...a tamar 24 m/s...a fat and old lady- but i l /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifove her!

DIY means <span style="color:red">D</span>o <span style="color:red">I</span>t <span style="color:red">Y</span>ourself.
 
Some of them were home finished, I know of one in 72, I bought the guys old boat when he started finishing the bare hull.
