Fischer Panda 5000i Neo

Saw this generator today. It's just released and has lots of features

Single cylinder, variable speed and the engine is now made in house by FP (i think)
Its very small and incredibly light at 75 kg
But the price is 6000€ including VAT (France) that's like nearly half the price of an Onan.
They say fitting is very easy so I'm hoping it's less than the 3000€ Onan want. Now this is too new to have any reviews online so I'm hoping someone here may have some inside info.
What does anyone think? The price is a boat show special so I might be rushing into a decision

I'm just finishing the fitting of a genny. It was much much more work than I expected. Had to make the engine bed. The exhaust routing was very tricky, I could only get it in one place because of the min height above the waterline and max height above the genny. The siphon break was an unexpected surprise too but at least that was thin pipe. Thoroughly plan the placement no only of the genny but all hoses and seacocks before deciding how difficult or not it will be to fit. I had to do a lot of cutting and fiddling and working in spaces smaller than me.

Elessar is it the FP 5000i Neo?

nope a whispergen
I had a talk with them at Cannes, and I have a dealer local to me. These small generators all look the same and cost the same (mind you the constant rpm multi cylinder ones also look and cost the same as each other). The name is appealing, but is it honest like Iceland or marketing like Greenland.
I would be very interested in hearing your review once you’re back on the water. In the meantime, what boat is it in and where in the boat have you installed it?

Just mounted the FP 5000i Neo, now for the electrics. 50mm from separate battery via fuse. Now trying to work out cable size for the generator to the breaker. Can’t find the starter motor draw on any of the documentation. 25 mm should be sufficient as less than a metre between breaker and generator.
