With the withdrawl of the FYCA pilot to the Firth of Firth, does anyone have a recommendation for another almanac/pilot for the Forth and the East coast of Scotland?

Is it being withdrawn? I have a 2009 edition which looks fine to me. I like the FYCA for its total comprehensiveness. Every possible stopping place for a samll yacht gets a write up.

Yes, went to buy one today and got told it's been pulled. The FYCA website carries the same. Various issues according to the website. Hopefully back later in the year, but I am looking for something now'ish.

I bought one of the latest ones at my sailing club about six weeks ago. I could find out if there is any more if you PM me.

Try Sue at Sea Span 0131 552 2224 she can be domineering but just suffer it LOL.... I have seen them on the counter. If non there then I might be able to help as some yacht clubs still have them. Have you checked with FYCA?

Have a look at www.fyca.org. There is an explanation there, although brief.

Think not!

..........." due to errors in editing, production and for legal reasons"

Hardly an explanation. If anyone knows the inside story it would be good to know if the errors are the sort that put you on rocks, or the sort that get an association sued for copyright infringement on photos or the like.
