Hi Guys
Ive jsut got back from my first adventure in my boat.I left wells harbour on saturday mornings tide,it was blowing around the 3-4 mark from the SW,it was a lively sail i was with another novice and beween the both of us we managed it.The best speed that we hit was 8.4 knots sog under sail,we beached the boat at Sea Palling on sat afternoon before having a barbie, after that we floated her off and dropped anchor behind the sea defenses,i managed to bed the anchor in,then i knocked the new deck broom overboard so i had to heavy the thing back up and go chasing it.
We left sea Palling at 6.30 Am,the wind dropped so i cranked up the engine and managed to hit 17knots before throttling back to a more sedate and less fuel consuming 8kn
we got back to wells safely and in one piece,i cant wait to go out again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
