We thought we would try our first overnight stay on board Saturday.
All went very well, very cosy, but comfortable enough apart form the bed being a bit, erm firm shall we say! Need to sort that.
Dogs and parrot were with us, all took to it very well, like ducks to water you might say.

Pub lunch Sat night, few Glass's of Scotlands finest and slept like a top. Walked the dogs Sun morning, bacon butties then off to Puffin Island for a spot of Seal watching

Sky was very dramatic but it stayed dry, sunny at times.

Home Sunday night, felt like we'd had a week off, can't wait till next time, maybe next week!
Thanks to Kwackers for loan of heater!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ang on, had to read it three times, It reads like you spent the night on a buoy, cheated like buggery I see. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mind, we spent the whole week on the boat and never went out, could not work out the exit and egress instructions from the marina.

Have managed to burn 45 gallons of heating oil since November though. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Oh, we resorted to number two heater when number one packed in. Mind it must have gone through 100 gallons of diesel last year, so maybe needs a decoke. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice report.
However.
Rather scruffy finish ref the 'Duster' retainer!

Next Months Course.

They're Bearded Collies. The darker one curled up on the bed is Ted, the lighter one lying by the parrot cage is Jimmy. They're both clipped off of course. Oh, and the Parrot is Jaffa, he's an African Grey. Haven't been able to find a LJ for him yet though! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oo Err Missus!
Now we are getting into Etiquette.

Wonder if Philliz knows He has to 'dip' it when MajorCatastrophe arrives in Port etc.
Then there is the question of 'Piping' certain Ranks aboard.
Blimey they are on a steep learning curve.

Hey Guys-- we can stay in the 'skinters berths' but we can also raid the Posh Gits when their Bars are stocked.

That's another thing to learn.
