Theres a bit of a thread in the Lounge about who was the first forumite.

Is he /she still on here? How did one lonely forumite get any answers to his colreg questions ?

I cant remember when I started this terrible addiction or who was allready here when I signed on.

There are around 100 users registered on 16/05/01 and half a dozen prior to that. I think that must have been the time of the re-build of the site after a wave of troll attacks. So it looks as though member No 1 is lost in the mists of time.

To find out more, go to the user list and click the heading of the First Registered colum. It sorts all users by date redistered within initial letter. Am I a geek or what?

there was more than one massive crash, including one where because the lack of security a number went and started another site. But then after that there was another long period of downtime where everything went west.

Whatever happened to Virtual Cherbourg '04? It seemed innocent enough to me, apart from StellaGirl's fiendish plot to scupper the trip half way.
