Now we are on the cusp of the event its there any solid news for either event?

Definitely Fireworks each night except Sunday at the Festival. About 10:30 I think.

CORRECTION: There are fireworks on the Sunday too, but at 10pm. Apologies

Sorry don't know much about the regatta, I thought it was just the last day of regatta that they had fireworks.

Yes - its normally the Saturday night. But there has been discussions here and in press and the outcome is unclear to me.

Apparently there are fireworks on Saturday of Regatta, they have found a new place to set them off, which I believe is on one of the fields that is high up opposite Temple Island.

Road closure signs are up for Henley Bridge on Saturday night, so looks like a certainty
