Fire extinguishers how big, how many?

>Plus an automatic one in the engine compartment.

We didn't fit one of those because if you have a slipping fan belt it the smoke will trigger it. Opposite the engine room we kept a CO2 extinguisher because powder destroys electronics.

would the Water Mist Fire Extinguishers put out an engine fire? are they available as automatic too?

A fixed water mist system is extremely effective in an Engine Room. I expect a water mist extinguisher would be very effective.

If you want to see how effective Water Mist is compared to traditional C02.

Look up on YouTube from 2013.

Since automatic extinguishers are triggered by heat, not smoke, this is just as much nonsense as the last three times you posted it.
