Anyone know anything about this?

My wife who's into Twitter (I know..!) spotted something about 3 boats on fire and a load of fire engines last night. No other detail other than that.

Couldn't see anything on the news.

It's like 1667 all over again!
Bad luck to victims, poor buggers , I hope their insurance forks out straight away, no excuses with burned or sunk vessels.

Hi all, Thank you for you concerns about the fire at our Yacht Club just before Christmas.

Just thought I would give a little update for those that are interested. As reported there was a fire aboard one 40ft motor cruiser. Two other vessels suffered a small amount of damage from radiated heat. The fire on board was too developed to be extinguished before the vessel sank. She is currently awaiting salvage. At this time there is no information as to the cause of the fire although there is nothing to suggest it was suspicious ignition.

We are trying to be sympathetic to those involved. If anyone has any specific questions then please PM me as I would prefer to not be posting to many details in an open forum at this time.

Happy New year to you all.
Kind Regards

Spratty
