First post so don't know the system yet. Has anyone any recommendation or suggestions for speakers for off season social events. Sailing or at least water related topics and willing to turn up for travel expenses and a free drink or two from the bar!! Bristol Channel location and very friendly welcoming club. Thanks

I know the question I was asking but do i know what question others hear. Interesting how easily misunderstandings happen. Thanks for responding.

You can usually get the local sailmaker to turn up for a chat. Plus any of your members who have gone transatlantic or similar. Anybody in the club with special expertise - meteorologist say.

Sail maker or things oin that specialist theme sounds a real possibility. Not many of our members venture into blue waters these days, maybe we need a talk on blue sky thinking!!!!
