Finally got it up

We finally got the genoa back with the correct sized luff tape. It turned out that the problem was an out of spec luff tape. 6mm tape supplied labelled as 5mm. These things happen, and in this case it probably wouldn't have helped if the sailmaker had come to measure since the measurements were right anyway.

Fingers crossed for you. I had some other stuff with plenty of scope to go wrong, but which all went pretty smoothly.

Just sods law in this case, on the sort of job where you wouldn't expect trouble.
