Finally got around to the anchor poll results

The big result though, the one everyone wants to know is which is the most popular anchor, see the graph below. I was hoping someone would have a SARCA but it seems no one has yet been willing to take the plunge.

That's really interesting Jools (for a few minutes anyway!). Thanks for all your efforts. It's good to know we are in the majority in all cases.

However, I am a bit concerned about the 2 (1%) who said they have no anchor - hopefully finger trouble on the poll !

I must admit that I'm surprised that the Danforth is as low as that and I do wonder how many of the "genuine" CQR's are really the genuine article!
Interesting though.

Good result for Spade considering they have not been around nearly as long as the other designs.

Prob with the poll was that it didn't include all types - I have a fisherman's and admiralty pattern barge anchor.
