Well done
The move to flying over water gets scary.
I've been using mine a lot over the last week.
JFM's past comments probably apply to you as well.
To begin with, the temptation is to watch it from the ground.
I am now starting to rely much more on the FPV.
Usually, I get someone to watch it whilst I fly using the Tablet's view.
I then get someone to catch it when it comes back to the boat.
But I did a flight completely on my own this avternoon.
We are anchored in Santa Ponsa (Mallorca) and SWMBO went swimming, leaving me on my own on the boat.
Take off - I can get it into the air from our cockpit table - after making sure that it clears the flybridge overhang.
Landing this afternoon was on the foredeck - where the cushions usually are - much easier than I thought it would be.
We are planning on crossing back to SC tomorrow and the weather looks good for some videos whilst under way.
So, thanks to JFM, I'm now going to read up all about that geofence thing - whatever it is.
I've already got loads of footage safely backed up.
Lets hope I will still have a drone as well after tomorrow!
