I've decided I'm going to build a steam turbine engine. I want to do this for use on my smaller boat as an outboard, and also possibly to power a bicycle.

Just wondering if anyone on here has done much with steam engines of any type.

**EDIT: Note on the title, apparently I accidentally copied and pasted something there without looking. :S Should be something about steam engines.**

OK I have checked the date !

I trust you are aware of just how complex the internal design of a steam turbine is. What will provide the steam, as it will need to be superheated, and at quite a high pressure - I certainly would want to have to pedal the thing up a hill ?

OK on an old frigate, but not so sure it will work in an outboard, unless you were planning to put it on the back of HMS Ark Royal !
