Fettling TC scraper blades

I have a couple of excellent scrapers with tungsten carbide blades, like this...

I'm preparing to remove old antifouling using these tools, but have been warned to 'grind a radius' onto the blades' corners, to reduce the risk of gouging gelcoat. How would experienced forumeers go about this? Would a diamond-surface sharpening tool do it?

Yes, slow work but yes - though I used a diamond lapping wheel to do my blades and a flat diamond "stone" to sharpen them by honing the flat back not the bevel.

A normal grinding wheel will take the corners off, but be careful, they might shatter.

Use a green grinding wheel. Just a small one on an arbor in an electric drill should do. Wear goggles!
