Ferry Disaster ?

They do get the wrong end of many sticks don't they? The article on buying a big boat on the website today says "It's not unheard of for some serial yacht owners to change their yachts more often than their wives." Eh? So do they think that generally speaking a yacht owner would change wife more often than yacht? (And, by the way, they presume the yacht owner is a man)

You wouldn't get away with that method in the uk, that's why we loose this kind of work to other country's who don't have our health and safety laws.

I think the economics of changing a wife frequently would preclude changing one's 'yacht'.

UM, SWMBO has quite strong opinions on new boats, I suspect she may have even stronger views on new wives. However, as the last conversation about boats resulted in keeping the old one and getting a new one, it may be worth broaching the subject of wives to see if the same result occurs. What does the panel think?

Not since 29th March in England and Wales.

I think you may be onto something here.

Let me know how you get on....... :encouragement:

Er, I'm currently scoring 3:3 on that front, with no plans to change the 'wife score' any further as they're more expensive than yachts...

On the subject of: sticks, end of; wrong - I couldn't help noticing, on the ybw front page, next to this item was the headline:

"Cocaine worth £40m seized on cargo ship in Portsmouth"

which reminded me of an old "Not the Nine O' Clock News" gag, the punchline to which was:

"And that just goes to show that they're paying twice as much for their stuff as the rest of us"

Hi all,

Apologies for this, we've realised the mistake here and have taken the boat fail video down.

Thanks

YBW team
