any proud owners between forum mates?

If so, please help with electrical scheme, preferably
twin engine version. Other technical documentation
regarding this boat would be of great use, too.

many thanks in advance

Ferretti Altura 422 is a single/twin engined motor sailer made by what is a primarily a mobo maker. About 12m or so, ketch rigged, looks nice. Beyond my means..... Not many for sale but there are one or two on offer.

That's surprising. We see hundreds of Italian Ferretti mobos in the Adriatic in July and August but I've never seen a Ferretti sailing boat. Thanks.

Richard

Welcome to the forum but your boat is presumably a motor boat.
You would probably get a better response on the mobo forum. :)
No, it is not. Please see below.

That's right ! Ferretti produced ~80 of these between 1979-1983.
The one I laid hand on was sorely neglected by it's previous owner
and needs BIG restoration - nothing beyond achievement, though.

Electrical installation is a real PITA - too complicated, including
2 alternators, AC genset, several distributed battery banks...
and very old-fashioned. Looks like Ferrettis have never read
any of Nigel Calder's books :)

Schematics missing in the boat's paperwork & Ferretti Yachts
could not find one in their archive, too :(
