I must admit, my fuel bill this time has made me re think what and where I will be doing my boating in the future, over £4K for a few days holiday ?

Amen to that - just got home yesterday after 6 weeks in SoF, never done so much displacement cruising, but really enjoyed it. Have to pick up the pace when it's lumpy though!
