Never ever burst one, but found some cracking big round ones over the years that are superb for uneven quayside walls & BIG tides.

If you found a fender with a telephone number written on it, would you keep it or phone the probable owner?

Think I would call number , but a good idea for fenders to be marked with a contact as well as boat name. Crab and Lobster pot numbers - no way of knowing really
