Fender socks

[kid's inheritance]

I recently removed the socks to clean them as there is buiding work in the marina c/w dust/grit .On attempting to refit them , they will not be persuaded to fit properly , ending up with a quarter or so of white fender still showing.Has the boss shrunk them? She claims not but she would say that wouldn't she!
Or do I deflate the fenders, fit the sock and reflate?
Or any other suggestions?

Trouble is now you cant get fender covers there used to be a company that made them something bray it was called, you can buy smaller ones for some makes but not all, recently I had some made with boat name and make and they looked really nice but after 24 hrs they had a hole. You can buy those long socks that you cut to size but again not very good.

If someone was to supply again there must be a Market for it.

SP, quite a lot of firms custom make them to whatever size and colour you want. The very good www.m2mfenders.eu, for starters. I've used them and their stuff is good quality

Easy - just buy smaller fenders.

Easy - just buy smaller fenders.

And in 5 years ,after 5 more washes , I will have fenders the size of a Wall's sausage also known as oversized in some Mobo's terms!
