Fender confusion

I bought a sample Polyform F2 fender a few weeks ago from company 'A' to size up against Paul's boat (another Antares 30). Earlier this week I bought some fender lines from company 'B' who also sold Polyform fenders, so I thought I'd buy another 8 x F2 fenders while I was at it, save on delivery cost.

The fenders arrived today and to my surprise they're different to the F2 fender purchased from company A. The tops look Black rather than Blue and the fender pump I bought doesn't fit the valve on the new fenders

I hit Google and found there's two Polyform companies, one Norway, one US? What's the crack having two companies selling different products on same brand name!?

Which is the better of the two please, US or Norway?

without knowing that there are 2 brands, I've ordered some new Polyform US fenders recently (not yet inflated nor installed)

I have both models on the boat (black and blue tops) but never payed attention to the difference,
some are really old and worn out
I'll investigate and let you know my findings when I'm back at the boat in 2,5 weeks

If both fender styles have survived on your boat, there must be nothing in it in terms of quality. Can't say I noticed any difference.

I have the option of returning the 8 fenders within 7 days so I'll probably send them back or I'll have to buy another pump and have one unmatching Blue top fender.
