Warm sunshine sailing! pffft!
I'll have you know I have two spreadsheet reports to complete today. Tomorrow is a full day training course and outside it's been enthusiastically raining for the last 2 days straight.
I think I know who's having more fun!

Hmmmm…. I drove across the moor today from Tavistock to Chagford. I’m now thinking of getting flotation bags strapped to the side of the BMW and maybe an outboard screwed on the rear bumper - might be more effective that way.

It’s 1930 and we’ve just picked up a mooring in Soufriere, St Lucia. It’s 30 degrees in the saloon.

It's considerably cooler than it was a month or so ago. I've been seeing water temperatures of around 32-33⁰C. Cabin temperatures in the high 30s.
In the past week things have dropped a bit, nighttime lows of 26⁰... absolute bliss!
John- I guess you can relax a bit now, your crew won't be missing her flight

We were in and around Grenada and Carriacou from July onwards. It was the hottest summer on record. Sea temperatures were crazy.It's considerably cooler than it was a month or so ago. I've been seeing water temperatures of around 32-33⁰C. Cabin temperatures in the high 30s.

We are now up in Antigua. Sea temperatures noticeably cooler. Its nice.

Yes, it was definitely a very long and hot and scorchio summer here in Barbados - the temps are dropping slowly now, just a few degrees, but very noticeable, and welcomed.

Am I the odd one out, because I am happy with the UK weather (At least in the part where I live.) I accept it for what it is & have no wish to burn my skin in far off lands.

You’re right. Having to apply factor a lot suncream and shelter under our Bimini is hell.
On a more serious note, I enjoy the UK weather for the most part and we’re home for Christmas in a few weeks time. (But we’re back to sunshine for new year!)
