Fedor set sail this morning from Port Pendennis, Falmouth on his Round the World attempt aiming for 120 days.

Unfortunately there is an error on his website.

The site claims that he is the first non-stop sailor to start from Falmouth. He may be the second, I don't know, but Sir Robin Knox-Johnston aboard Suhaili was the first, departing Falmouth on 14 June 1968, 36 years ago. He arrived back in Falmouth on 22 April 1969 having taken 312 days.

Ellen McArthur's B & Q Trimaran is still waiting alongside Port Pendennis Marina waiting for the right forecast to start.

From the Lookout in the National Maritime Museum Cornwall there is a wonderful view overlooking B & Q.

That is quite correct - I have confirmed it from the "horse's mouth"!
