I'm fed up with the pathetic reliability of modern kettle whistles. It's the one item that I've on board that has proved useless. Expensive fast boilers, to cheap camping hobbies, the whistles have all been pathetic, unreliable, or uselessly short working lives.
Has anyone fared better with recently bought kettles. I'd really like to know when and where. Is it too much to ask, a kettle with a loud whistle, that lasts more then 5 minutes.
Most modern kettles have whispy plastic whistles. Surely there's something better?
