OK, an area that is hardly used by the British (but you should!): the Baltic. Especially the Danish Isles and the Swedish coast.

and the bestest places are the 7k+ mountains that I haven't climbed yet (and that was the purpose of buying a sailboat)

San Blas Islands, Panama....365 islands, some inhabited, some not. Classic tropical island, white sand, palm trees. Them that knows reckon it's better than the South Pacific.

Bay Islands, Honduras...3 main islands, varied from coral reef, to small bays,isolated or plenty of nightlife. You pays your money and takes your choice!

Sailing anywhere is good! Places I have enjoyed sailing to include the Med, Canaries, Caribbean and Azores. On the ‘to do’ list: Bahamas, Pacific islands. Locally to me: Anglesey, Isle of Man and must get up to Scotland sometime soon.
