Just the usual, salt spray surface rust and slime?Looks a bit shiny Bouba ... what you using, anything special?
Bouba, I met several folks whose traits eventually resemble their own dogs. Some pictures of the dog’s evening walk in Le Lavandou
It goes well beyond looks. There’s also fleas, bad breath, scratching and farting?Bouba, I met seen several folks whose traits eventually resemble their own dogs.
But if the avatar is anything to go by, in your case the similarity is truly amazing!![]()
Apparently the hound can be quite antisocial as wellIt goes well beyond looks. There’s also fleas, bad breath, scratching and farting?

He could be my brother ??Our own semi-social hound, turned 13 last Friday. Celebrated with a walk along the Dart.

but them being silly swimming the seadog out for her needs in the morning with a leash (FFS!) has a story behind it.
we anchored overnight in this tight deep bay alone -you can see the stbrd stern rope to the rocks there's another one to port (wouldnt be easy for someone else to fit tbh) in this island where only two monks live, ah, and LOTS of goats all around. That's the whole thing:

So the evening before, I explained to the ever stressed daughter that it's a practically a deserted island, just let the dog go out and let her explore and walk around. So she listened to me (not often she does...) and came back to the boat leaving her there. Now, Ira (the dog) found chasing goats a fun game, only she got slightly lost in the various small paths with vegetation higher than her, so ended up not being able to go back to the beach but thought it was a good idea to stop in an elevated part of the port side where she could see as and bark waiting
So daughter had to swim to get her and bring her home.
Hence next morning (although all goats had gone and none was around) she insisted she takes Ira with the help of her friend to the beach on the leash. Needless to say I didn't say a thing just got the phone out to capture the moment
cheers
